Though we work with all precious and semi-precious stones, Diamonds are our specialty at MDT Design.
Diamonds are judged by four distinct factors known as the 4C's.
Diamond Guild
MDT design are members of the Diamond Guild Australia (DGA), an association which has a reputation for integrity and ethical trade, both within the industry and in the public domain.
DGA members are recognised for only buying diamonds from a guaranteed source, and being conflict free.
The term "Conflict Diamonds" is used to describe rough cut diamonds that are mined or stolen to finance armed rebellion against legitimate internationally recognised governments
DGA members are governed by a strict schedule of constraints in order to avoid the use of misleading terms in regard to the promotion or sale of diamonds.
Passion8
MDTdesign are stocklists for Passion8 diamonds.
Passion8 diamonds have three distinguishable factors - perfection in polish, symmetry, and proportion and it is this perfection that is the very hallmark of Passion8 diamonds.
With every Passion8 diamond sold it comes with its own unique independent international gemmological laboratory report (certificate) and its own authenticity card. It is also sold with its owb Passion8 hearts and arrows scope to enable you to view the stunning patterns of Hearts and Arrows.
