The Australian argyle diamond mine is located in the north end of Western Australia and is currently Rio Tinto’s largest source of pink diamonds worldwide.
There are also a great deal of white argyle diamonds being produced from this mine which are sought after for their high quality crystal structure and the fact that they are a 100% Australian Diamonds. In the past 30 odd years, a little over 750 argyle pink diamonds have been offered for sale at tender which proves their rarity and reason for the constant demand.
MDTdesign has a large selection in-store of both pink argyle diamonds and white argyle diamonds which are both becoming harder and harder to source. Larger pink argyle diamonds include certification proving they are an Australian argyle diamond, and are in most cases are laser inscribed. If the pink diamond is smaller in size, an argyle lot number will be provided with the diamond. White argyle diamonds are also laser inscribed on the girdle for verification.
